Factions and Kingdoms Guide

Calradia is a land torn apart by civil war and invasion. Eight major powers vie for supremacy, each with unique cultures, troop trees, and strategic advantages.

The Major Kingdoms

Vlandia

The feudal lords of the west. Inspired by the Normans, they boast the finest Heavy Cavalry in the game. Their lands are rich and defensible.

Battania

The highlanders of the central forests. They lack heavy cavalry but possess the deadliest archers in the game, the Fian Champions. They are masters of ambush and terrain.

Sturgia

The princes of the north. Their infantry shield walls are nearly impenetrable. Fighting them in the snow is a death sentence for mounted armies.

Khuzait

The horse lords of the eastern steppe. Their armies are composed almost entirely of cavalry and horse archers, allowing them to dictate the pace of any battle.

Aserai

The masters of the southern desert. Wealthy traders with a versatile roster that includes strong cavalry, camels, and infantry.

The Empire

The Calradic Empire has fractured into three warring states, each claiming legitimacy. They share the same Troop Tree but differ in leadership and geography.

Throne of the Empire The Empire's legacy is the prize everyone seeks.

  • Northern Empire: Led by the Senate (Lucon). Traditionalists holding the north.

  • Southern Empire: Led by Empress Rhagaea. Monarchists claiming hereditary succession.

  • Western Empire: Led by the General Garios. Militarists who believe might makes right.

Minor Factions

Beyond the great kingdoms, numerous mercenary clans and outlaws roam the lands. Groups like the Wolfskins, Lake Rats, and Ghilman can be hired as mercenaries or crushed as bandits.

Clash of Kingdoms War is inevitable. Choose your allegiance wisely.
