Trade Routes and Goods
Trading is one of the fastest ways to make millions in Bannerlord without swinging a sword. By exploiting supply and demand, you can fund entire kingdoms.

Key Trade Goods
Not all goods are created equal. Focus on high-margin items:
Aserai Horses: Buy in Askar or desert villages (often less than 1000 denars). Sell in Vlandia or Empire (often more than 2500 denars). This is the highest margin trade in the game.
Furs: Buy in Sturgia (North). Sell in the South (Aserai).
Dates: Buy in Aserai. Sell anywhere North.
Salt: Buy in Ortysia. Sell inland.
Hardwood: Buy in Marunath/Seonon. Sell to smithing towns (like Epicrotea).
The Great Desert Loop
This is a classic route for early game riches:
Start in Sanala. Buy Grain and Dates.
Move West to Askar. Buy Desert Horses.
Travel North through Ortysia (Buy Salt).
Ride into Vlandia (Sargot/Pravend). Sell the Horses for massive profit.
Buy Olives/Grapes in Vlandia.
Return East/South to repeat.
Using Trade Rumors
The inventory UI gives you hints.
Green Price: Below average (Buy!).
Red Price: Above average (Sell!).
Rumors: Hovering over an item will often say "Sell at [Town] for X". These rumors are gathered from towns you have visited recently or from caravans you've met.

Siege Trading (Advanced)
For the ruthless merchant, Siege Trading offers the highest payouts.
Wait for a town to be besieged.
As soon as the siege ends, the town will be starving (0 Food).
Rush in and sell Grain and other food.
Because supply is 0, the price will be sky-high. You can sell grain for 10x its normal value.
