Tournaments & Arena Guide

Tournaments are the lifeblood of the early game in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. They provide gold, renown, and some of the best gear in the game without costing a single denar. This guide covers the structure and rewards of the arena system.

The Tournament Loop

Tournaments spawn in major towns that have noble lords present.

• Check the Arena: "Go to the Arena" menu will show if a tournament is active.

• Tournament Master: He can tell you where other tournaments are happening nearby.

The Prize System

The winner takes all. The prize depends on the number of nobles participating.

• Noble Mounts: Wadar Hotblood, Asaligat, or Destriers often appear as prizes. These are worth 15k-20k denars!

• High-Tier Armor: T6 Helmets and Body Armor can drop, giving you endgame protection at Clan Tier 0.

Winning a valuable warhorse early game is a massive boost.

Practice Mode

Before the tournament, you can enter "Practice Fights" in the arena.

• XP Farm: Great for leveling combat skills safely.

• Gold: You earn small amounts of gold for knocking out opponents (up to 250 denars).

Leaderboard

Winning tournaments increases your rank on the global leaderboard. While mostly for bragging rights, being a top champion grants daily renown, speeding up your Clan Tier Progression.
