Regional differences in tournament rewards and weapons.
Tournaments by Region
Not all arenas are created equal. In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, the culture of the town dictates the weapons used in the tournament. Knowing what to expect can be the difference between victory and defeat.
The Empire
In the Empire (Northern, Southern, and Western), tournaments are standardized and disciplined.
Weapons: Sword & Shield, Pilum (Spear).
Difficulty: Easy/Medium.
Strategy: Empire tournaments are standard. Shield bashing is king here.

Battania
The forests of Battania host the deadliest tournaments in Calradia.
Weapons: Two-Handed Swords, Bows, Two-Handed Axes.
Difficulty: Hard.
Strategy: High lethality. One mistake against a two-handed sword means instant knockout. Keep your distance and counter-attack.

Vlandia
The chivalric culture of Vlandia favors mounted combat.
Weapons: Lances (Mounted), Crossbows, Swords.
Difficulty: Medium.
Strategy: Expect jousting. Couch your lance for an easy one-shot on enemy horses.
Khuzait
In the steppes of the Khuzait Khanate, you are born in the saddle.
Weapons: Glaives (Mounted), Bows (Mounted), Spears.
Difficulty: Very Hard (for infantry players).
Strategy: You must be good at riding. The mounted archery rounds can be frustrating if your character has low Bow skill.

Difficulty: Medium.
Strategy: Watch out for random javelins to the face.
Sturgia
The northern warriors of Sturgia fight with brutal efficiency.
