Calradia is dotted with dozens of major towns and hundreds of villages, each with unique cultures, economies, and strategic values. Knowing the layout is essential for any would-be emperor or wealthy merchant.

The Empire (Northern, Southern, Western)

The Empire holds the center of the map, making their towns huge trade hubs but vulnerable to war on all sides.

• Epicrotea: A critical choke point in the north, often contested by Sturgia and Battania. Great for Iron workshops.

• Lycaron: Centrally located, often very rich due to constant caravan traffic.

• Ortysia: The gateway to the west, holding the strategic land bridge to the Aserai lands.

Vlandia (The West)

Vlandian towns are rich and relatively safe, tucked away on the west coast.

• Pravend: Producing Olives and other crops.

• Jaculan: Known for its Olive Presses and safe position.

• Sargot: A military and economic stronghold.

Aserai (The South)

The desert lands contain some of the richest towns in the game due to high-value trade goods.

• Sanala: Often the richest town in the game. It has massive grain production from three villages, allowing for huge prosperity growth.

• Askar: Famous for its date production and desert horses.

Battania (The Central Forests)

• Marunath: Another contender for the richest town. It sits on a major trade route and produces Hardwood and Clay, making it a smithing paradise.

• Seonon: Deep in the woods, hard to siege, and full of resources.

Khuzait & Sturgia (The Frontiers)

• Makeb (Khuzait): Iron and Salt. A tough nut to crack.

• Revyl (Sturgia): Isolated in the far north, usually safe but poor trade connection.

Resource Specializations

Understanding village production is key for Workshops & Profitable Goods.

• Grain: Abundant in the Empire and Sanala. Good for Breweries.

• Grapes: Vlandia and Battania. Good for Wine Presses.

• Iron: Found near Marunath and Epicrotea. Essential for smithing.

• Horses: Aserai (Desert Horses) and Khuzait (Steppe Horses) villages are the best places to stock up on mounts for Trade Routes.
