Best Cavalry Units

A ranking of the finest mounted warriors in Calradia.

1. Khuzait Khan's Guard (Noble)

Technically a Horse Archer, but their Glaive makes them the best melee cavalry too. They can destroy anything in the game.

2. Vlandian Banner Knight (Noble)

The classic knight. Best charge damage. If you land a couched lance hit, it's a one-shot kill.

• Pros: Highest burst damage.

• Cons: Can get stuck in infantry blobs.

Ranking the top tier mounted units.

3. Imperial Elite Cataphract (Noble)

Walking tanks on horses. They have the best armor in the game.

• Pros: Almost unkillable.

• Cons: Slower than other cavalry.

4. Sturgian Druzhinnik Champion (Noble)

An interesting hybrid. They are solid cavalry, but if their horse dies, they become top-tier infantry. Great for sieges.

5. Aserai Vanguard Faris (Noble)

Fast and equipped with Javelins. Deadly at close-mid range before the charge.

Each faction has a unique flavor of cavalry.

Common Cavalry

If you can't find nobles:

• Vlandian Vanguard: Solid shock cavalry.

• Khuzait Heavy Lancer: Good medium cavalry.

Don't underestimate the non-noble troops.
